Sharing files in the iOS Files application 11

Sharing files in the iOS Files application 11

The Files application will be the mobile version of Finder on the Mac. In its beginnings, the application will be quite simple and easy to use. But within its simplicity we find some quite interesting benefits, such as document collaboration.

To share a file with the iOS 11 Files application you must follow the following steps that we dictate to you below:

1. Open the Files app on your iPhone or your iPad.

2. Touch and hold your finger on the file you want to share.

3. Click on "Share". Gihosoft Free iPhone Data Recovery:iphonerecovery.com

4. The typical floating menu will appear with the iOS extensions.

5. Click on the new "Add people" icon.

6. The Files application will allow you to share the file from any messaging app, social network or third party application. I personally recommend iMessage, it is the simplest, most effective and direct option.

Once you have shared a file, you can go back at any time to change editing permissions. You can choose whether you want the people you've added to make changes to the file. You can even select if you want contributors to edit or just view.

You can access your shared files from the "Recent" section in the shared documents section. It's that simple!

How to factory-reset my iPhone 6 if I cannot turn it on?

You already know the answer to this, don’t you? Please tell me you do.
Think about the following questions:
  • How do I change channels on a TV if I cannot turn it on?
  • How do I reinstall the operating system on my computer if I cannot turn it on?
  • How do I get my printer to print if I cannot turn it on?
  • How do I cook food in a Microwave if I cannot turn it on?
Certain things require power before they will do anything. If an iPhone cannot be turned on, then it is essentially a paper weight. You can’t factory-reset it anymore than you can check your text messages, make a phone call, or play a game on it.
But you knew that already, didn’t you? Please tell me you did.
Now if your real question is “What can I do about an iPhone 6 that needs to be factory-reset but won’t turn on?” That’s a different question. In that case, first make sure you plug it in to a known-good cable that is plugged into a known-good power charger that is plugged into a known-good outlet. Leave it charging overnight. If it still doesn’t boot up, try doing a hard reset (hold the power/sleep and home buttons for 20 seconds). If that doesn’t work then take it to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center for further assistance (and make sure you can prove you own it).

Update to iOS 10.3.3 to fix serious wifi vulnerability allowing attacker complete control

It’s always a good idea to accept iOS dot updates as soon as they are available as they generally have significant security fixes. But iOS 10.3.3, released yesterday, fixes one particularly nasty vulnerability, making a swift update a particularly good idea …
But what Nitay Artenstein of Exodus Intelligence discovered – and reported to Apple – was that it was able to exploit the issue to ‘run code in the main application processor.’ In other words, gain complete control of your device.
The underlying issue is a weakness in the Broadcom BCM43xx family of wifi chips. These are used in every iPhone from the iPhone 5 to iPhone 7, as well as 4th-gen iPad and later, and iPod Touch 6th gen. But Artenstein found a way to leverage control of the wifi chip to then take control of the main processor.
Now that the vulnerability is fixed, Artenstein will be sharing full details at the Black Hat conferencenext week.

Apple’s wearable device can work perfectly with apps on the iPhone, iPad, and even Mac. If you now own an iPhone or iPad, the Apple Watch is really something you don’t want to miss at all.
Last year, Apple introduced a significant update to its smartwatch lineup with the release of Apple Watch Series 2. The Apple Watch 2 marks a shift in focus towards fitness, making it the ultimate tool for those who want to get the most out of their fitness routine. However, there are a lot more things you can do with your Apple Watch.
In this post, we have compiled a list of four exciting things you can do with your Apple Watch. Before we dive in, make sure that you now have a modern version of watchOS.
  1. Complications

Complications are among the greatest features on the Apple Watch. Basically, you can easily create your personalized clock face complications with help of a wide range of third-party options, like view upcoming flights, check weather forecasts or get sport scores. In other words, you can keep up with the latest happenings right on your watch face.
There are tons of third-party clock face complications out there. If you want to know if it’s going to rain in your location in a half-hour, give Dark Sky a try. Dark Sky is one of the best weather apps for iPhone and iPad. With Dark Sky complications, you can check the current temperature, the forecast for your day and rain outlook for the next hour, all on your watch face.
If you are a big fan of Pokémon Go, you can use its watch face complication. The watch app allows you to locate nearby Pokémon and check on your progress.
  1. Making purchases with Apple Pay (using Apple Watch)

Apple Pay is among the most used mobile payment services out there. Apple’s payment service is now accepted by millions of banks and retailers worldwide. You now can make purchases with Apple Pay using your smartwatch without the need for fingerprint-based authentication.
To make purchases with Apple Pay using your watch, you simply need to double tap the side button below the Digital Crown, then select your credit or debit card and place your watch near the reader to make your payments.
  1. Listening to music (no iPhone required)

Apple is making its smartwatch a standalone device. The company took steps to accomplishing that goal when it allowed users to run and listen to music directly from their watch. Specifically, users now can run without an iPhone in the pocket, all thanks to Apple Watch’s GPS abilities. The Apple Watch 2 now includes the ability to capture your route and distance without an iPhone.
Besides, you can also listen to up to 500 music tracks while running. However, you will need a pair of Bluetooth headphones for wireless connection.
  1. Controlling your home

With the release of HomeKit, you now can take full control of your home remotely. Apple HomeKit is a great addition to iOS, as it allows users to control a number of home devices using Siri with their Apple Watch. You can turn on/off lights, lock/unlock doors, or adjust the temperature in your home.Gihosoft Free iPhone Data Recovery:iphonerecovery.com

  1. Customize the Control Center

With iOS 11, Apple has completely revamped its Control Center, offering a much easier way to control your iPhone and iPad. The Cupertino Company has removed the mess in iOS 10 in favor of a simplified Control Center that offers everything you’d need ranging from wireless options, music controls, do not disturb, brightness and volume.
The best thing when it comes to iOS 11 Control Center is that you can customize it, meaning that you can add what you want to include in Control Center and remove what you don’t. To do this, launch the Settings app from your home screen, hit Control Center and select Customize Controls.

  1. Smart Invert

iOS 11 introduces a dark mode feature called Smart Invert, which is hidden inside the Accessibility section. Once enabled, the feature automatically inverts colors of the iOS user interface without reversing the colors of your content. Here is how you can turn on Smart Invert in iOS 11.
Step one: First off, you need to launch the Settings app from your home screen and then hit General to proceed
Step two: Once you are in, tap on Accessibility and then select Display Accommodations
Step three: On the next screen, hit Invert Colors and turn on the switch for Smart Invert.
  1. Type to Siri

If you find a bit inconvenient to speak to Apple’s virtual helper, Siri in public places, you will be happy to know that iOS 11 now allows you to type to Siri. In reality, the ability to type to a personal assistant is not something new, as Google has already baked it into the Assistant.
Once you have enabled “Type to Siri” in iOS 11, you will be able to type out your queries to Siri. Apple’s digital personal assistant will quickly respond to your questions. To enable “Type to Siri” in iOS 11, head to Settings > General > Accessibility > Siri and turn on Type to Siri.

  1. Get more storage

With iOS 11, you now have more efficient methods for freeing up your storage. If you head to the iPhone Storage section in the Settings app, you will notice that there are several new options like offload unused apps, auto-delete old iMessage conversations and more. Besides, you can also enable iCloud sync for your messages, so you can regain a considerable amount of storage space.
  1. Zoom in on Apple Maps

Apple has been working on improving its mapping service for years. With iOS 11, you have got a new way to zoom in or out in Apple Maps. Now just simply double tap with your finger or thumb (make sure that you keep it pressed down on the screen). After that, you simply need to move your finger or thumb up to zoom in or move it down to zoom out.
